Trying to stay in shape over the festive season? It’s not entirely impossible according these Dubai workout instructors. The ladies from barre class Physique 57 give their tips on how to maintain the figure you’ve worked hard for all year, and best of all you still get to eat cookies.
“Choose wisely - when you're at holiday gatherings like Thanksgiving or Christmas, skip the foods you can have all year round, like cheese and crackers, chips, etc. Save your calories for the goodies that are a treat once a year like your grandmother's stuffing, eggnog, gingerbread cookies, etc.” Karlee says: Look good working out
“Pack your favorite workout gear. When traveling to be with friends and family for the holidays, make space in your suitcase for your favorite sweat attire. When you look good, you feel good and you'll have no excuse to skip that workout you are craving.”
“The best thing to do when you are craving something is to eat it. With so many holiday treats around, set yourself a limit and stay within it!”

“It's the end of the year which means an opportunity to discover a new goal. When you have a new goal that you want to achieve it will help you stay focus during this hectic time of the year. Get excited to finish your year on a positive note!”

“Keep the focus on fun not food - Most holidays are associated with celebratory dinners but that doesn't mean food has to be the main focus. Instead, enjoy the other activities the holiday brings whether it's carol singing, playing games or tree decorating”
