Hello everybody, I have just read all the comments and would like to introduce you to the best hairdresser ever (not only in Dubai). I stayed in Dubai for 5 years and always went only to Fadi from Pace e Luce salon which is located near Dubai Mall in Al Manzil hotel. Now I moved back to my home country and missing his job a lot. Highly recommend him, his name is Fadi Rashwani, hope my note will help as I know how difficult it is to find a good hairdresser.
I love these classes and normally I hate all forms of exercise, so to find something to help me lose weight has been really good.
I have done around 7 classes now and have already noticed weight loss as well as feeling generally fitter! Javier is a great instructor and does really well to keep the whole class motivated with his personality and great music.
Can't recommend this enough!
so it was lunch time, as usual, my colleauge (greek of course) and i couldn't decide where to go. With Salads in our mind, she suggested we go visit her people at PUBLIC. We were greeted by the lunch crowd and had to settle for the lovely bar top counter. Ordered the most boring thing on the menu, CEASER SALAD, while being served by a smiling & attentive greek guy (the owner i suppose). Because it was the best ceaser salad i've had since i've came to dubai, i had to write this post. The hazelnut milkshake drink was amazeballs too. Can't wait to be back to try the other stuff on the menu ! Good job PUBLIC cafe =)
TOP QUALITY, FANTASTIC VENUE - Having attended this restaurant on Thursday last, I felt I must reward the restaurant team by fulfilling my promise and posting my thoughts... As one of the previous reviewers comments, this place is understated cool chic... That in itself in Dubai isn't the hardest thing to find, however, when that is coupled with amazing Indian cuisine and impeccable service then that is something worth writing home about.... My wife and I started with Chilli mint prawns which were cooked to perfection and the Signature "Patiala Fish Platter" which was delicately spiced, served piping hot and was as fresh as I've had amongst the finest speciality fish restaurants....WE finished off with a well balanced and reasonable priced Lassi (Indian speciality desert/cocktail/drink).... and then on to some more wine... A great night out, without breaking the bank and somewhere which I am sure will be a regular haunt for us. Well done Patiala, see you guys again soon. J
Smiling Bkk, was an experience, I did like some of the food and the ambiance, The place was small and dimly lit.
We ordered and waited for a long time for the food to come. Our experience in relation to the food was good. What really needs work is the service... It was way too slow... We had to wait a long time for the dishes to arrive. The desert menu didn't have very many options on it. When I did ask for Thai deserts. there were just two that they could offer from the 6-8 listed and one of them was fried banana with ice cream... So would I recommend this restaurant...maybe ...and if I did recommend it, I would add that the service wasn't very good and the staff weren't really friendly, they looked non interested....we had to request them to clear the table first in-order to for us to have our desert served.
I do wish to check out the other location and hopefully that would be a lot different from this one.
