I am a big fan of Royal Orchid's food but the service out here is pathetic...I ordered my food and Pilipino waiter came to put plates with no greeting..my plate was dirty and I asked him to bring prawn crackers which he brought after 20 mins..I believe somebody was forcing him to serve.
Manager was passed by 2 times and he didn't bothered to ask satisfaction.
Charged an outrageous AED170 for an enchilada and guacamole dip - yes this was dirhams not Mexican pesos! By the time the drinks and dessert had been added this has to rank as the most over priced restaurant I've visited in Dubai during my years living here. There are Mexican restaurants in Dubai offering equally, if not better food, atmosphere and certainly value for money.
I wish you guys could have included BlueBay Desserts, I've been buying their products for 3 years now and every single person always asks me where I've ordered these delicious treats from. Their desserts are simply mindblowingly delicious, and score full marks on looks too.

I went to Scafa for a business lunch with a friend. The venue is very clean and has a fresh feel. The food was fantastic. I had the caesar salad followed by the beef rib. The meat was beautifully and evenly cooked. The taste of the beef was exceptional. The staff were friendly and prompt. I would absolutely recommend this to any of my friends.
It was a great experience! The food, decor, ambience and staff was fantastic and helped make this a memorable evening. Definitely on our list to visit again!

Maya Modern Mexican Kitchen and Lounge
