A restaurant and entertainment hub that forms the centre point of Dubai’s Al Habtoor City, The Atrium is set between the St. Regis Dubai, W Dubai and Westin Hotels.
It is a five-storey complex that will include seven restaurants and a theatre space. So far, British pub The Rose & Crown has opened, with Mexican restaurant ZOCO set to follow in September. Other outlets due to open include Los Angeles celeb hangout Blind Dragon.
La Perle by Dragone will be a Las Vegas-style theatre show, created by Franco Dragone, a founding father of the iconic Cirque du Soleil brand.
His latest creation will run 450 shows a year in Dubai from the 1,300-seat theatre, which has been custom designed to house an ‘aqua stage’. Water is the running theme, with 65 performers and 70 specialist technicians producing a show using 2.5 million litres of water, hydraulic lifts, fountains and high-powered winches.
Once complete, the entire Al Habtoor City development will span 10 million square feet and feature 40 restaurants and many more retails and nightlife venues.
