THE EMIRATES TOWERS METRO STATION IN DUBAI IS NOT OPEN YET. KEEP CHECKING TIME OUT DUBAI FOR MORE DETAILS.

1 Shakespeare’s: This alcohol-free restaurant can be found at the back of Al Attar Business Tower on Sheikh Zayed Road, and flows over into a charming outside area. Part of Shakespeare’s attraction is that it has all the attributes of a cool, snug café: battered sofas to loll in, books and magazines to browse and plenty of idiosyncratic touches. The food is generally good, too.

2 Jumeirah Emirates Towers: It’s not all cuffs and collars at Emirates Towers, with casual eateries such as Noodle House and lively bar/restaurants Scarlett’s and Harry Ghatto’s pulling in the party goers. However, if you’re after a more sophisticated evening, Al Nafoora is a fantastic upscale Lebanese restaurant, or head up to Vu’s on the 51st floor: its view of Dubai is as breathtaking as the prices.
