1. Deira City Centre Mall: There are plenty of bargains to be had at this mall, with Forever 21, Topshop and loads more high-street names on offer. Carrefour is the place to go for weekly groceries, or, if you get tired of shopping, you can always have a meal at one of the restaurants and catch a movie at the Cinestar cinema.

3 City Centre Hotel & Residence: On the first floor of Deira City Centre you’ll find an entrance to Sofitel, home to English-themed pub Churchill’s. Pretend you’re in London and kick back with a pint and a portion of fish and chips (or even a roast if you fancy). If your tastes are more varied, try La Cite, Sofitel’s international restaurant.
