We love fireworks in Dubai. They are a wonderful way to shout about the opening of the latest unimaginable five-star hotel. So what do at the end of the year, the traditional time for sending jets of coloured fire into the air? Well, we set off fireworks, only more of them. And bigger ones. So let’s start with the biggest of all, the Burj Khalifa. Watching the world’s tallest building set alight with a thousand fireworks is a sight that must be seen by the naked eye. Fire pours from what seems like every window in a kind of upright tribute to the dance of the Dubai Fountain down below. It’s just a shame that you can’t split yourself in two and also witness the incredible displays at the Burj Al Arab and Atlantis on The Palm over backdrops of these two amazing buildings. Whichever you choose, you are sure to have a blast.
