The little things that make our fair city unique 1 Comments
We smiled when fresh shots of tigers and lions in cars and apartment blocks around Dubai started circulating on Facebook last week. Clearly not because we think such exotic (and dangerous!) animals should be kept as pets, or paraded around in such close proximity to little kids. No, we grinned because it’s exactly the sort of shot that inspires the time-honoured catchphrase for our unique home city: ‘Only in Dubai’.
In August we launched a conversation on Twitter (via hashtag #onlyindubai); today that conversation is still going strong, and doesn’t look as though it will slow down any time soon. Here are the best moments you (and we) have gasped at Dubai’s one-of-a-kind charm over the past six months. Keep them coming to @timeoutdubai.
