An oasis of green in predominantly sand-infiltrated Al Barsha, this park is built around the perimeter of a man-made lake and is popular throughout the week as well as at weekends with joggers, families, fitness fiends, kids’ birthday parties and picnickers.

Facilities: Jogging track, bicycle hire, jumping castles, basketball and tennis courts, playgrounds and fitness equipment.

Shops or kiosks: Small kiosks close to the entrance sell popcorn and soft drinks.

Toilets: Yes.

Nature: Palm trees line the track surrounding the lake and there are plenty of grassy areas to picnic.

Pets Allowed? No.


Free. Sun-Thu 8am-11pm. Fri-Sat. 8am-11.30pm. Al Barsha 2, near Emirates NBD Bank (no number).

Tip: The smooth, flat jogging track lining this park is perfect for polishing your rollerblading and skating skills.

Hi Diana

The park has ample of seats and grass area to accommodate big groups. Yes it also has a play area for the kids. From JBR it is only 15-20 mins drive.

hi I'm wondering if there are benches to seat 15 people. and play ground for kids? How far from jbr?
