Boteko Brasil Located within the ladies-only club on Jumeirah Beach Road, this cute, colourful and laidback café offers a selection of Brazilian coffee, sweet treats and savoury items such as pão de queijo pizza and empadão. Bo House Café The ideal ladies’ night for non-drinkers; female guests who turn up on a Tuesday evening can opt for a free ‘pink coconut’, which is a mocktail of coconut water with grenadine syrup, served in a coconut shell. Tues 6pm-12.30am. Bo House, The Walk, JBR, Dubai Marina (04 429 8655).
Salon Ink While many of Dubai’s ladies-only hair salons are blacked out affairs, this light and airy venue is encased in floor-to-ceiling glass and afforded lots of natural light. On top of the sleek interior and feel-good atmosphere, the colourists are some of the city’s best. They excel at ombre, red and blonde hues, but they’re not cheap. From Dhs280 for a cut. Talise Ottoman Spa Features a ladies-only section with hammam, thalassotherapy pool, Vichy showers and private treatment rooms. Larger groups of up to ten women are also catered for in the Talise Tulip Room, which features a star-lit roof and water features. Groups can enjoy pampering sessions with their choice of treatments.
