Get over your seasonal slump with our guide to enjoying summer 2014
Over the past few weeks, it’s been hard to find anyone stoked about spending summer in the city. The sweat-soaked shirts, the bugs setting up camp in your living room to hide from the heat, the exhaustion of every possible DVD box set you can think of… But it’s too easy to gripe about this sweatiest of seasons in Dubai, and lazy too, because as well as the upcoming Eid holiday (which at the time of writing was due to start on Monday July 28) there are actually many fantastic things about being in town over the next two months. We’ve got 101 of them right here. It’s a hefty number – more than one a day to see you through as far as October – and suffice to say there really is something for every personality and interest. Read on to thoroughly bat away your summer boredom.
