As a UAE national, it saddens me a lot to see Etisalat on this list. If that is the best customer service that we can provide, we might as well shoot ourselves. Etisalat has a LONG way to go. In fact they have to stop going backwards before going forward. I have seen Etisalat evolvement from its very beginnings as Emirtel, and I must say that this is an alarming issue. The call centre is just appaling! Your neighborhood grocery has a better call centre that Etisalat's. The staff attitude, knowledge and professionalism falls way behind national and international standards. I can safely declare that I don't trust the BestInDubai rating and I would like to see details on their rating methodogy.

Etisalat sends messages advertising their services in the middle of the night to their customers...
When I wasted half an hour on the phone, being asked to call three different numbers, I was first told nothing could be done because it's the same for all customers ( reaction: oh, so you harass all your customers in the middle of the night so it's ok??? response: yes)
I was finally told I could just go in person to an office to stop this ( yaye, I get to waste another hour or two to beg Etisalat to leave me alone when I sleep!).
So, could someone please define customer service for me, I seem to have gotten it wrong.

Etisalat for best Customer Service? You have got to be kidding!!!! They do not even know the meaning of the word. 1 time i had to take a guest complaint to their outlet and ask them to call her back( because nobody was answering their phones)to which the lady attendant replied that it was not her job that and that I should tell THEIR customer to call their call centre. She was reluctant and only complied after i asked her to do what she gets paid to do!
