Due to open in 2018, there will actually be two options for swimming at the hotel, including a 360 degree infinity pool.
Located 210 metres above ground, the pool will provide impressive views of the Dubai skyline including the Palm Jumeirah and Arabian Gulf.
The top floor will serve as a viewing deck to for the public, handy for those visiting the adjacent 350-shop Nakheel Mall and the 1.1 million sq ft Al Ittihad Park, which has a 3.2km running track and 60 varieties of local plants.
There will also be a St. Regis Beach Club and all-day dining restaurant for guests to take advantage of. The wider project includes The Palm Tower Residences which is comprises 504 apartments with a starting price of Dhs1.7million.
Those who have ever stayed at the hotel will know the brand is famous for their butler service and altogether old school charm, making them very welcome in the Middle East.
