The Sweden island will be home to 10 seven-bedroom beach residences, due to be completed by end of 2016, and all of them will be tastefully furnished by Bentley Home.
These Scandinavian-style villas will include seven en-suite bedrooms, a snow and sauna room, floor-to-ceiling windows, al fresco balconies, a gym and spa, a private infinity pool and landscaped gardens. Each property has been designed to mimic an inverted Swedish Viking vessels, with the roof resembling the upturned hull of a Viking ship.
Taking care of the interiors will be renowned Italian architect, Carlo Colombo, who will add his chic signature taste to these private luxury villas. These Sweden villas will also be exclusively furnished by Bentley Home.
The project is reported to be complete by December 2016, just in time to host a Swedish-themed New Year’s party to inaugurate the island.
The Heart of Europe is a cluster of six European themed islands on The World, a mere 4km off the coast of Dubai. Earlier this month, Time Out Dubai reported on the completion of the very first Floating Seahorse villa on the St Petersburg island.
