The city is set to get two more Address Hotels and three more Vida properties
Dubai’s astronomical rate of growth is showing no signs of slowing as Emaar Hospitality Group announce six huge new projects.
The group unveiled plans for the hotels at the Arabian Travel Market, revealing that two new Address Hotels and three new Vida hotels which are set to open around Dubai Creek Harbour and Dubai Marina.
Little else has so far been revealed, but the properties confirmed include the Address Dubai Creek Harbour, the Address Residences Dubai Creek Harbour, Vida Dubai Creek Harbour, Vida Dubai Marina and Vida Residences Dubai Marina.
In October last year, Emaar confirmed that Dubai Marina Yacht Club would be closing to make way for a new hospitality development, and new information suggests that the club will be incorporated into the new Miami-style Vida Dubai Marina Hotel, residences and Yacht Club.
In a nod to the nautical nature of Dubai Marina, guests can expect décor inspired by beach huts and vintage cars at the Vida Dubai Marina. There will be plenty of tropical vegetation, a mint pastel colour scheme and Miami-inspired artwork, too, along with the Vida’s signature clean, geometric design.
Meanwhile, the two Address properties will be located in the heart of Dubai Creek Harbour, where they will have spectacular views of the water and Downtown Dubai. Both will also be located around the corner from the Dubai Tower – the Santiago Calatrava-designed building that will be taller than the Burj Khalifa once complete.
No completion date has yet been confirmed, but the hotels and residences will join the 10 other properties that are up and running around the city. These include the just-opened Address Boulevard, in addition to six others that are due to open in Dubai Marina, Dubai Parks and Resorts and at the World Trade Centre.
