Festive celebration sees flurries of snow and a 1,000-teddy bear vertical display
Get into the festive spirit this week with the return of one of Dubai’s top winter wonderlands.
Head to BurJuman from Thursday December 7 until Saturday January 6 for A Very Brr…Juman Winter (see what they did there?). The mall is set to transform into a huge festive spectacular, complete with seasonal décor, activities, snowball fights and even artificial snowfall in the snow park.
The centrepiece of the wonderland, BurJuman says, is a “unique and visually attractive vertical display which will become without doubt the centre of everyone’s attention”, an 8.4 metre-tall tower made up of 1,000 teddy bears in the main atrium. So don’t miss the chance to take home your very own Christmas memory.
From 3pm until 10pm, head over to the mall’s main atrium and check out the picturesque winter village, where you’ll also see a flurry of snow falling every 30 minutes.
“At BurJuman, we know the festive period is a wonderful season of the year to spend time and make memories with the family,” BurJuman said in a statement. “With something for everyone to enjoy, we welcome our community to join us in celebrating the cool winter season.”
While you’re there, head to one of the mall’s 300 stores and do some Christmas shopping, then kick back with a bite to eat or catch a movie at the 14-screen Vox Cinema complex.
This is one festive celebration we can’t wait to check out.
