This is one of Dubai’s most expensive complexes, with average prices of apartments set to run in the tens of millions of dirhams – with apartments being designed to suit the requirements of their affluent, and entirely anonymous, clients. Nonetheless, we’re expecting a place like this to be the future home of A-list celebrities, sports stars and rock stars.
At the moment, the site is still under construction, but the site itself topped out (meaning work finished on reaching the building’s final height) in September 2017, while work on the rest of the complex is due to complete this year. Complete already, however, are a couple of super-luxury, 4,473 sq ft apartments, each boasting magnificent views of Dubai Marina, Ain Dubai and the Arabian Gulf.
We went down and had a look inside, and they’re everything you’d expect from a multi-million dirham apartment at the Palm’s newest ultra-premium destinations. Having been designed by premium, London-based design house Elicyon (the team behind the design of One Hyde Park in Knightsbridge), we're talking about huge open-plan spaces, sophisticated and elegant designs, smart technology throughout, and of course, completely bespoke upon request.
“We have really enjoyed being a part of this amazing project at One Palm by Omniyat, it has been fantastic to work in Dubai particularly at such a landmark building," said Charu Gandhi, founder and director of Elicyon.
And, let’s not forget, the most expensive apartment in Dubai has been snapped up at the site, costing a whopping Dhs102 million and spanning over 29,000 sq ft, with three floors, a private lap pool and more – so this place began oozing luxury long before it even topped out.
“As the most exclusive address on The Palm Jumeirah and home to Dubai’s most expensive apartment, One Palm commands the best style and design possible,” said CEO of Omniyat Mahdi Amjad. “Clients are given the choice of two high-end designers to style their villas in the sky, and this new showroom captures the high-end finishings and plush furniture that turn these units into exquisite homes.” For more information, visit www.onepalm.ae/residences.
