The Jean-Paul Najar Foundation is one of the newest venues to open up in Alerskal Avenue, and is a non-profit private museum.
On display are abstract and contemporary works of art from Jean-Peal Najar’s private collection – he spent most of his life collecting work by artists including Richard Nons, Doug Sanderson and Linda Francis.
Also on display are letters from Najar to the artists, and letters from them to him. The Foundation regularly runs workshops, guided tours and education programs. In late 2016, the American artist Judy Rifka had a residency here, creating new works and working with local artists.
