A three-month-long exhibition dedicated to the life and works of pioneering Emirati contemporary artist Hassan Sharif is coming to Sharjah.
Taking place at Sharjah Art Foundation from Saturday, 4 November 2017 until Saturday, 3 February 2018, the landmark retrospective exhibition Hassan Sharif: I Am The Single Work Artist encompasses Sharif’s diverse body of work from the early 1970s until 2016.
The exhibition focuses on the artist’s long history with the emirate of Sharjah, where he first began staging exhibitions of his works. Exhibition venues span Sharjah Art Foundation galleries in Al Mureijah Square and the heritage house Bait Al Serkal in Arts Square.
