Dear Sir or Madam,

I am contacting you because I would like to do work experience in the ceramics industry in Dubai and I wondered if you would be so kind as to put me in contact with companies, workshops or individuals who might be able to offer this.

I am currently undertaking a one-year vocational course in ceramics in France. As part of my course, I need to do five weeks’ work experience and would ideally like to do this beginning in early March and ending in early April. I am looking to apply techniques which I have studied such as turning pottery on the wheel, mosaic, and sculpture. I would be happy with a placement in any part of the ceramics industry in Dubai, whether it were a small workshop or a large factory. The institution where I am doing my course would be able to contribute 200 euros to cover the costs of the company or individual with whom I would be doing the work experience.
