I chose this venue as I had a 50% off Food pair of Chopsticks from the January promotion, I reserved the Table over the telephone at lunchtime and was impressed to receive a confirmation call 90 minutes before dinner.
We were impressed with the Venue, Decor cool and trendy, we chose to eat on the terrace giving us a lovely view of the beach and palm, the air temperature was perfect during the evening. We chose our starters and one of the guests was a Vegetarian so requested Prawns instead of Chicken in his Iceberg Wrap, He was informed this was not available!!!! He still enjoyed the wrap with just the mushrooms and nuts.
Our Main courses were served just after we finished the starters While there was nothing particularly inventive about the dishes, each was of sufficient quality to warrant its somewhat inflated price tag. The sizzling beef deserves a special mention, it was an excellent dish thanks to the quality of the sauce it came in, albeit not sizzling!!! The portion sizes were good and extra pancakes were provided within seconds of requesting them. The service was efficient, polite, friendly, we were disappointed that the Chicken couldn't be replaced with Prawn and that draught beer isn't available in the restaurant but is in 5-6 other outlets within the complex. Overall it was a pleasant evening, nice food but I wouldn't return without a Entertainer voucher or a Time Out card.
