It may be best known for its lively Friday brunches, but there’s more reason to visit this established Garhoud haunt than the urge to start the weekend dancing on the tables.
Part of the Méridien Village complex, a collection of bustling bars and restaurants that spill out into a shared open-air space, Warehouse has long been a popular spot in the city’s cooler months, thanks to its comfortable, sizeable drinks garden. Inside, huge bowls of monkey nuts dominate the tables dotted around the room, and on busy nights expect to feel the crunch of discarded shells underfoot.
Hops aficionados, meanwhile, will better know the venue for the range of draught and bottled options available, which are among the most extensive and varied in the city.
Service is swift, smiley and full of recommendations for indecisive punters, and if you visit during happy hour (4pm to 7pm, Saturday to Thursday) prices are keen, with up to 30 percent off selected drinks. Not quite worth dancing on the tables for, but not to be sniffed at, either. The Bottom Line An extensive drinks selection and a relaxed outdoor lounge.
