But since opening opposite JBR last year, this Scottish import (the original in Speyside is well-known for its celebrity guests) has been right at home on Dubai’s pub scene. While still relatively new to the city, it has that elusive lived-in feel that many bars have tried and failed to replicate, right down to the odd creaky floorboard.

Until then, there’s plenty to steal your gaze inside, including some very traditionally Scottish (and unusual to Dubai) bar bites that we can’t quite get enough of, and not to mention its three different brunch deals available on both Fridays and Saturdays.
A great hideaway in the heart of new Dubai. Haggis ball, anyone?
The bottom line Scottish pub that’s right at home in Dubai.
