Never quite as cool as it’s tried to be, this is still DIFC’s most relaxed

Very good portions of food and an impressive beverage menu. The decor and music that adds to the excellent ambiance. A good choice for a night out and the Tuesday Ladies Nights are definitely worth checking out!

I'm not sure what all these bad reviews are but every time I have been there I have had a positive experience. The service has always been good and the waiters seem to know enough about the product and alcohol they serve.
Dinner plates come in big portions and great quality and the beer list and wine list is pretty decent for a Dubai pub. The only negative is that it can be a bit too quiet some nights..
Good facecard discount too! cheers guys

Been there for Friday brunch with a group of 8 people. The place wasn't even full, but the service failed from the beginning. We have been waiting over 1 hour for the starter, after we finally got our starters for 2 hours nothing happened anymore, but we had 3 more courses to go, even after we have asked several waiters the food wouldn't show up, except 1 of us got his main before the second dish. The food was average, so not even worth the wait. The brunch did not include water or soft drinks. A 750ml bottle of water comes for a overpriced 28 AED and a 250ml Coke for 18 AED.
The atmosphere is comparable to a Sunday afternoon tea than a Friday jazz brunch.
It is a nicely decorated bar though and the music is great, but at the end it doesn't make up for a poorly managed pub.
The Gramercy is a never again case!

Had brunch last Friday.
Worst service ever. Disorganized staff. Had 3 different waiters asking for our orders, two didnt even serve us our drinks.
Starved! After repeated follow ups, it took 2 hours to serve the appetizer, and 1 hour for the mains. Complained first to waiter and he said they are serving a big group, which I think was inappropriate as everyone was still paying customers. Complained twice to the restaurant manager, who was also slow to take action.
Would understand if fully booked with hundreds of customers, but restaurant is not even full!
Music and decor were pretty good, though.

Read about The Gramercy from TimeOut online and decided to give it a go at the weekend. While it is an absolutely superb looking bar, be warned of two things - 1) the price of the drink is extortionate (50AED for a stella! I mean, c'mon fella's, be reasonable) and 2) it's absolutely dead at the weekend, so dont expect a buzz of atmosphere. While the atmosphere can be down to one off night, the rip off prices for your drinks means that we of the money spending fraternity will not be returning - I just wish we had been warned beforehand.
