Dark and smoky, with football shirts on the wall and TV screens everywhere you look, The Huddle is your typical sports bar.
On weekends (Saturdays in particular) fans crowd in to watch football, rugby, cricket or whatever else is on. And while this willingness to show virtually any sport is welcome, it sometimes causes problems when the staff change the channel on the whim of one guest. So don’t get too comfortable in front of your chosen screen. The drinks selection is standard, but the prices are competitive, with plenty of offers on during the week.
Staff will greet you warmly, though orders can go missing during peak times when things get a bit chaotic.
The Huddle attracts a mixed crowd – it’s a good place for both groups and individuals. But sports-fuelled rowdiness can ensue depending on the games being shown.
Away from the screens, there’s live music on Wednesdays and combination deals on food and beverages throughout the week. So if you find yourself in Barsha and fancy a bite with some hops, you could do worse than The Huddle.
The bottom line Plenty of sport and great deals at this unassuming bar.
