Couples looking for a romantic evening together are well catered for in Dubai.

From cosy city corners to sunset lounges the bars and clubs of Dubai are an ideal backdrop for romance.

Time Out picks 10 bars with romantic overtures.

Buddha Bar: Dark and brooding enough to mark the start to any romantic evening, Buddha bar provides cocktails and kudos in equal measures. Book ahead and sink into one of the bar’s cosy corners with the one you love or romance your new date in some of Dubai’s most opulent surroundings.

Rooftop Terrace: There are few more pleasant places to spend a cool winter evening than sipping drinks in the Rooftop bar of the Royal Mirage. Reserve a table near the balcony for the best views for you and your significant other.

Oscar’s: It’s rare to find anything romantic in the Crowne Plaza but Oscar’s wine bar somehow manages to buck the trend. It has cunningly disguised itself as a quaint cobbled drinking den despite its high-rise location. Oscar’s even offers a fine selection of tipples to accompany an evening of romance and quiet conversation.

Vintage: Tucked away in Wafi, Vintage is one of the area’s most romantic spots. Enjoy a glass of wine over candlelight, well, dim lighting, and if you’re feeling peckish sample a fondue for two. It’s cheesey but we just love to love.

Cin Cin: The slick surroundings of Cin Cin, not to mention the love seats, make this a strong contender for Dubai’s most romantic bar. It’s centrally located on Sheikh Zayed Road but you feel like you’re a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Koubba: Regularly touted as one of Dubai’s best bars Koubba is the perfect spot for a romantic date. Quiet enough to chat in peace but not so deserted that any awkward silences are impossible to disguise. We may have found the perfect first date choice.

Left Bank: Whether it’s The Madinat original or its Souk Al Bahar-based sister, Left Bank ticks all of the date boxes. Atmospheric, beautifully lit, with a varied menu and seating a-plenty.

New Asia Bar: Raffles and romance go hand in hand so New Asia Bar is a must if you’re planning a date in Oud Metha. Great service, stunning surroundings, and beautifully presented beverages ensure that drinks for two are romantic from the offset.

The Terrace: The Park Hyatt is one of Dubai’s prettiest venues and The Terrace bar provides a stylish outdoor spot for drinks for two. Seats to sink into, waterside views, and the hotel’s Arabic backdrop, provide a setting fit for any romance novel.

The Piano Bar: Candle light and good conversation will only get you so far. Step up the romance by adding a pianist into the mix. Le Royal Meridien’s resident ivory tinkler can spot a wedding anniversary or a date across the room and will adapt his playlist accordingly so expect gentle and soft rather than orchestral and raging.

I dont agree with any of the suggested bars. It seems to be a review of Dubai's priciest bars instead of the most romantic ones. I certainly cant see how Buddah Bar or Left Bank could ever be the most romantic! They're usually packed and very loud.

Please re-look at this review.

Rooftop Terrace - Royal Mirage

I have been to the rooftop terrace a couple of times with my partner and found the bar a bit too quite . Not too many visitors which makes the ambience boring . Please advsie places that are really cozy with good & chik and people. Thanks

Thanks for the tips, although I'm not sure how romantic an evening in Left Bank would be, it's pretty hectic.
