Time Out has the latest New Ladies Nights in Dubai, with details of the best drink deals at bars in Dubai Marina, Downtown, Business Bay and more
Ladies, like the sound of a night out without spending a dirham? You’re in luck. There are any number of nights throughout the week on which you can party without emptying your pockets. To help you narrow down the options, we visited the city’s newest ladies’ nights to bring you our verdict on each offer.
This Friday ladies’ night offers women four free drinks and a selection of nibbles from 9pm to midnight. Dress up, as this one is truly for the well-heeled about town (what would you expect from a club owned by billionaire Flavio Briatore?). With it being the weekend, expect to continue the party into the small hours, as the DJ pumps out the urban beats and the glamorous nightclub gets into full swing. Ladies get four free drinks and nibbles. Fri 9pm-midnight. Ongoing.
This Time Out Award-winner offers three complimentary drinks after 9pm on a Tuesday, with a soundtrack of all the right tunes to get you moving - CN Williams' set of RNB and popular hip hop tracks will keep the party ricking until 3am. Tue 9pm-3am.
If you’re looking for a bit of a dance, but not keen for a club, the newly opened Japanese bar and restaurant’s ladies’ night is the answer. Pumping out top tunes, this is a place to wear your dancing shoes rather than to go for a quiet catch up: it’s loud… very loud. The vibe is good, and the place is packed, and although there aren’t any food deals, it’s worth trying the seared salmon sushi and cheese and truffle gyoza, both of which are excellent. However, there’s a limited selection of drinks, which run out way before the end of the night, and the service, sadly, isn’t top notch. Ladies get free grape and mixed drinks. Wed 8pm-midnight.
The Brit-style gastropub offers a down-to-earth vibe with its white brick walls and cosy interiors. On ladies’ night, you’ll find a few punters from the casual after-work crowd having a chilled-out catch up, while the resident DJ mashes up classic and new R&B and hip-hop tunes. It’s nothing to write home about, but the deal is decent and the food is good. Three complimentary drinks on arrival, ladies who spend a minimum of Dhs75 on food get unlimited selected mixed drinks. Tue 5pm-9pm.
There’s nothing more decadent than drinking bubbly in an infinity pool. And on a muggy summer evening, what more could you want? Bubbly is served from the swim-up bar, which boasts excellent views over the beach and the Palm. On our visit this night is fairly quiet, but it’s a great place to catch up with friends as you don’t have to shout over music. It is still a hotel pool, however, and it seems odd that one half of the water is occupied by kids splashing around in flippers. But for novelty value, this is definitely one to visit. Ladies get free bubbly; Dhs195 (unlimited house beverages for gents). Mon-Wed 8pm-11pm.
For a civilised catch up over a glass of something good, this is the place to go. Treehouse is very quiet when we visit, but that might be due to the time of year – it will certainly be better when it gets cooler and the prime views of the Burj Khalifa in all its sparkling glory aren’t obscured by the plastic walls of the tent that encase the bar. The décor is sophisticated and simple, all charcoals and greys, and it has a mature and classy air. The drinks selection is wide (choose from grape or a variety of mixed drinks), of which each person gets two. There’s also 30 percent off food for ladies. Ladies get two free drinks and 30 percent off food. Tue 7pm-10pm.
