Fibber Magee’s may not be much to look at, but it always manages to attract a cheery crowd (especially on Tuesdays, when it has a pub quiz). While the grub is standard British/Irish pub fare – fish and chips, beans on toast, burgers – what the kitchen does, it does well. The batter-fried hammour is light and moist, while the chips are fat and crisp – just as you’d expect from a well-prepared plate of fish and chips. It’s not for the calorie-conscious, but vegetarians need not fear – the menu boasts some tempting meat-free options as well.

A rare thing in DXB - an almost authentic dive bar. Not quite up to NYC standards, but not bad. Decent grub, decor in need of an update, Declan the guitat player/singer in need of an update (typical over cranked fuzzy guitar, 2 or 3 chord stuff) but the total lack of pretense in a bar in DXB brings this joint to the top of my list for authentic decent places for a pint. No compensated daters here either which is refreshing, although the place is a bit of a sausage factory.

Food is first class. The bar is not a posing palace but to be honest the its the people and the craic you are wanting, music nights are fantastic and the quiz night is a good one.

This was probably the first Irish bar in Dubai and its definately the most auhentic imo. Great food, great service, great pints, excellent value

It does what it says on the can. Fibbers has been around for years and always delivers the goods: decent selection of draught lagers and stout, bottled bitter and top drawer, real comfort food with the best mushy peas in Dubai. Great offers are always available and the Friday brunch is a must. Packed whenever there's a big football (especially Chelsea) or rugby game, but go when it's quiet and you can sit with a cold beer and a sausage/bacon bap and contemplate the meaning of life. Don't expect your typical pretentious Dubai bar full of "the beautiful people" with prices to match. Once you've sampled this back street boozer, you're hooked. Slainte!

The food is GREAT! But the bar is soo dingey and smoke filled.. I've fallen out the door coughing with plumes of smoke behind me.. plus it sometimes seems there's more mixer than shot...

Love this place. I just went to this place once and i am a regular over there. This place is awesome to watch football matches especially Chelsea matches. So many Chelsea fans come to this place to watch the match. THis place makes me feel like i am at my own place. The food is really awesome. It satisfies me both in terms of quantity and quality. And this place aint that expensive compared to other places. Its worth the money. They have so many promotions at this place. One advice for the people....If you just want to go this place for eating and a quite time. I suggest you guys go when there is no football matches.
I simply love this place. Fibber is one of the best thing happened in my life.

One of the best kept secrets in Dubai. A great place to "sneak away" for an afternoon and have a few - Fibber's offers the seasoned traveller. 4*/5*

Fantastic place! One of the very few places in this town with authentic character & "feel at home" atmosphere!

Good selection of alcohol, great food, VERY reasonable prices & the band ROCKS the house every single time! (tho they could add a couple of new songs to their repertoire =o) )

It only takes once to turn you into a regular!

Love love love the Rib Eye steak with mushroom sauce they offer there, not like any of the fancy restaurant who basically serve you a small bit of tender and juicy BUT tasetless meat, they actually serve you a big chunk of the juicy tasefull meat with mushroom sauce to die for and grilled mini tomatoes that explodes in your mouth while offcourse not forgetting the crispy but soft on the inside home made fries that comes along. Definitely made me a regular.

ACE..!! would be the easiest way to describe it.
