We went to Okku as a group of ten for dinner on Thursday night and the service was appalling all night.

We had a table booked for 10pm. When we arrived they shuffled us to the bar and told us the table would be ready shortly. By 10.40pm we were still waiting with no apology. It took a couple of complaints to the manager to see us seated. Once seated service was slow and pushy; the waiters wanted us to increase our order (what we had turned out to be more than sufficient). Some of our food failed to arrive until we asked about it. Some of the cocktails were very poor.

The staff made no gesture to acknowledge the wait. The food was nice but not enough to justify being treated like we should just be grateful for being there. We would have spent a lot but were not inclined to as a result of our poor treatment.

Would not go back!

L.O.V.E Sundays really take things to a new level, the food the service and the music is amazing truly love the sax player, new twist to okku!!! best place to be on a sunday indeed :)

Great lounge areas (upstairs and downstairs) to have dinner and drinks. Music is always amazing and the bartenders that call themselves liquid chef's nice touch considering their cocktails are weird and fantastic. Try the Japanese Velvet. I would also recommend booking in advance as we didn't and had to beg!!

Went to Okku on Thursday night, what an amazin night........Started at the bar and had some great cocktails. The speed and quality was second to none in Dubai. Then party time!!! The restaurant turns into a dancefloor with a fantastic live DJ. Going back again on Sunday as I heard they are pretty special too so see you there!!!!!!

OKKU is always bringing in the best DJ in town. And Dj Kaveh is my big time favorite..

Feels like im just in London, really good party....

I will definitely be there this Thursday! :)

Thursday nights rocked! music was incredible! we had dinner first and stayed on for a drinking table (my first thur at okku and def not my last) was one of my best thursdays in dubai! food was amazing and the sushi presentation was out of this world! well done guys! any more okku's opening soon????? (I HOPE SO) :)

amazing place....we had a leaking roof all night long. but very nice - had a great time!!! no one talks about this place!! :)
