With undoubtedly one of the most enviable settings in the neighbourhood, Horizon already has an edge over its beachfront competitors. If you’re in search of a bar with a sea view and a lower riff-raff density than, say, Wavebreakers, but not quite as sophisticated as the One&Only Royal Mirage’s new Jetty Lounge, this may well be the spot for you.

Thursdays and Fridays draw a young, attractive crowd, many of them moneyed (judging by the large bottles of beverages on most of the tables) and plenty of them wildly overdressed. This is absolutely not the place to take a teary-eyed girlfriend for a heart-to-heart or a recently fired colleague for a pep talk – the music can be astonishingly loud, and gentle sentiment can get somewhat lost when you’re shouting.

On the other hand, if you’ve had enough of stuffy clubs and are looking for an alternative spot to lounge around (there are bed-like seats available, but we wouldn’t recommend these to the mini-skirted), this could well be the spot for you. You’ll be paying five-star prices for the drinks, but don’t expect any smiles from the bar staff.

Great bar - but says ladies nights drinks until 230am - in my experience the free drink stop before then - usually about 11pm!!

best happy hour 50% discount everyday, and best ladies night in dubai every tuesday, pool party on every friday . take your friends to horizon lounge. the place having always peoples , music , dance , culture...........

Worst place I have ever seen in Dubai!
Too much crowded and most people were drunk. They had no control for their behavior and because of this every few minutes the fight has been picked up. I was shocked.The music was good but quality of the sound was not great! I didn’t like there and after 20 minutes we left the bar!
I will never ever come back there again.

Horrible experience and terrible reception, we paid 300AED to enter last weekend. The atmosphere was very lame. Saw 100people clumped over the center stage watching/listening to the live music. 2 tables total for al-fresco, were told you have to smoke a shisha standing up.

After 35seconds (yes seconds), we decided to leave. Reception refused to give us refund, manager said sorry we can't refund the 300AED fees. Felt like a sucker and left. They obviously have no idea what customer service is. We spend 1000s a month in Dubai clubbing and hanging out and for sure Horizon will not be getting a fils from us :(

This pool bar is fast turning into a favorite place. I loooove the blue and white beds, no cover charge, reasonable champagne price and really good music. They can do better with the sheesha but other than that wow amazing. I enjoy the view and the service, every single time outstanding. I have recommended the place to most of my friends and think everyone should go and visit. Price for a bottle of moet is 750dhs and cocktails are less than the zuma range. Have not tired the food, but i am sure it will be up to par

Located on the 3rd floor roof terrace of the Habtoor Grand, we had three of our best nights at this place. The ambience, the music, the crowd - all wicked. The staff very attentive, the champagne bar was lovely, not to mention the Mojito station! Take your friends, meet them there, sit in the warm air and chill or dance the night away to the funky sounds. This one is the next one to take off over there.... DJs from London and Paris and a great sound system!
Thoroughly recommended.
