As a fairly authentic copy of an old mock-English boozer, the essentials are all here: pool table, dartboard and TV; walls hung with a jumble of pictures; banquettes bearing the stains of years’ worth of spilled drinks; and portly regulars looking as much a part of the furnishings as the bar stools.

Ambience

After being stuck in Dubai for a week, i thought i would never find a decent bar. However i was wrong this place is everything you want from a British pub or as close as you will ever get here. The menu is great with apparently real bacon in the all day breakfast. Also on the plus side the cheapest place i have been. Although i am not a football fan they have the rugby on too. I for one will be informing everyone i know who transits through Dubai to visit this establishment.

A proper English pub. The food is pretty good and a good mix of classic English pub grub (steak pie, fish and chips and good old burgers with more to offer in the form of some spicy Asian favourites. To top it off, they do a proper English breakfast with real bacon and pork sausages (great on the 99AED Brunch on Fridays.
