An intimate Irish bar serving decent pub grub and some of the biggest pies in town, Dubliners is a jovial place for a pint. The decor incorporates dark wood, the obligatory Guinness posters and the back end of a truck at the expense of windows, alongside acres of Celtic paraphernalia. Accordingly, it’s a good bet for televised sports and its proximity to the airport makes it a good bet if you’ve only got a few hours in town and aren’t feeling adventurous.

I've used Dubliners for years .......last night ordered take-out fish & chips and was shocked that I had to sign an indemnity form for the meal ........it was only when I got home and saw the meal that I realized why Le Meridien have introduced this indemnity .........the food was deadfull .........iIf I'd been eating in Dubliners I would have sent this back kitchen and refused tp pay for it ! Le Meridien .........so called 5 star hotel .........if they can't provide decent foood on the menu then withdraw the dish !! Poor poor service . ofd %

Unfortunately. Dubliners just turned their outside table area to the Thai restaurant, and have opened up a new area. This has fake brick walls, NO attempt to decorate, and LOUD canned music that has absolutely no connections to the Emerald Isle.

The service was good, but told us she couldn't turn the canned music down to hear ourselves talk. The live musician was excellent, which helped. I would go inside to the traditional atmosphere, except for me I prefer less smoke in the air. So I'll go across the street to Biggles at the Millenium from now on, become their "loyal regular"

Sunday Roast on a Monday - I could hardly believe it.....Too good to be true.....and it was
First it came to the table luke warm...after sending it back, it returned with a slight change in temperature.
Roast - more like 3 slices of stiploin - so tough my plate was sliding all over the place when I tried to cut the tasteless meat.
Veg - warm tasteless
Roast Potatoes - When are traditional roasties served with their skins on (sounds like the start of a joke). Where was the crips outside layer then the fluffiness. Again tastelss
Last but not least a medioca Yorkshire pud......Oh the gravy was not worth mentioning
Have the cooks in Dubliners heard of seasoning, flavour, tender, fluffy...I dont think so.
Very disappointed as the staff & their service were oustanding.
Its actually the worst food I have tasted in Dubai
