Directly opposite Buddha Bar, Grosvenor House Tower Two’s new hotspot Siddharta Lounge is a hop, skip and a jump away from its sister hang out, so in the unlikely event that the scenery gets boring, all you have to do is walk across the road. The face-off couldn’t have come at a better time, because this chic new poolside venue on the rooftop is the ideal place to enjoy the cooler weather. The white décor is stunning set against the aqua glow of the pool, but the atmosphere hasn’t quite arrived yet, due to the lack of patrons – the in-crowd have not made this new place home just yet.

Decked out in all white, hanging wicker chairs dangle in a corner, while double sultry sunbeds eagerly await loved-up couples. Staff are still a little unsure of their new gig, which comes with most new ventures, and so the bar service feels a little unrefined and out of place compared to the idyllic surrounds. Running with the hotel’s trademark Far Eastern theme, the menu includes an assortment of Asian-inspired tapas-style morsels such as calamari on skewers, prawn spring rolls and octopus. Be warned, this much stile comes at a cost: a visit here may dent your savings.
