Despite being housed in the world’s most exclusive hotel, the Sky View bar is a haven of tack. The panoramic vista, however, cannot be bettered. Beware, though – the drinks are as expensive as you’d expect.

I went there a few times with my friends and family who visitted Dubai to have afternoon tea.

When I went there for the first time several years ago,the price was cheaper and experience was great. However, this time, the cost for the Afternoon tea went up to 425 per person and the service was not even up to 5 star hotel.

I will not visit there again unless my guests really want to.

I went for the high tea yesterday with my partner and it was delicious. However, I made the reservation a month and a half before yet they did not honour my request for a window seat. Given that I am paying 395 per person and that I put the reservation under my credit card, the very least the bar could have done was reserve me a table by the window. Emirates Palace on the other hand would have honoured my request.

It's the cheapest option to visit the Burj Al Arab. However, the drinks are not only overpriced but also some of them were served in a plastic glass. Service is ok, but nothing out of the extraordinary. The decor is way too old and carpets and sofas should be replace.

There must be a better way to see inside the Burj Al Arab without going to Skyview Bar. Sad, sad place. Decor is outdated. Everything feels a little shabby. The drinks are size (tiniest pours) and in price. Service was just, eh. Nothing to write home about. Actually kind of diffident and slow. On a Friday night, the place was half empty and most everyone was over 70 yrs old. Like Carol writes below, it's just a place to say "I've been there"....and now I wish we hadn't gone.

It is a dream and you definitely get the ultimate experience, starting from the entrance of the hotel till the top... Great people, great service and lovely food and cocktails..
It is the one and only Sky view Bar and not to forget mentioning the world's most expensive cocktial that went into Guinness rrcords.. you can see it LIVE

After trying cocktails at the Burj the other evening, I was quite disappointed. I realised they would be expensive, however the quality and taste of the drinks was nothing special and were certainly overpriced for what was received. There was a pianist and singer providing live music and the singer's choice of songs was depressing, as was the voice. The view is great, but this is just a place to say 'I've been there.'
