Had drinks with friends yesterday evening and... after reading all these positive reviews about the place I was SHOCKED!! Well, first of all, it is not a "One of a kind" lounge, there are zillions of this kind in Dubai with much better service and staff attitude.
For 4 people with simple drinks like martinis and white house wine as well as snacks (french fries and fried calamari) our bill went up to 1500 AED! After 7 years of life in Dubai and working in Hospitality I was astonished with this amount, considering that there is nothing special about the place to be that overpriced! When we called restaurant manager just to give us an idea about the reason they've priced everything so high, he was extremely rude and arrogant, acting as if he didnt care and wanted us to leave.
Never ever coming there again and what a shame for Shangri-La to have such a poor customer service and arrogant staff attitude!

I have been going to this place since it opened , i love the staff, food, cocktails and the crowd.. I love this place so much that i celebrated 2 of my birthdays and also joined the club connoisseur, because i knew i would be spending a lot of time there and the 20% discount would be useful. Good job ikandey !

wow!! what an amazing venue. i thoroughly enjoyed my evening here with a great chilled out vibe and uplifting music. with the lush palms and pink décor and sitting beside the pool it was hard to believe that i was actually on top of a car park on SZR. friendly staff and a very professional DJ I will definitely be returning and recommending to friends and colleagues. I was surprised not to of heard of this place before but made it very exclusive. big thumbs up. what a fab alfresco venue!!

I have been there thrice in 8 days now, so its understandable that I am a repeat guest already. Ambience lovely, Music amazing, Staff friendly, Extensive menu, and I think, Dubai's best Shisha is served here. Get here to experience the chillout/loungy atmosphere. Cheers!

Full pack on weekends. We couldnt get a table so we had to stand at the bar. But as we were waiting, we actually enjoyed standing and listening to music......great truffle popcorn.

Went for the first and from the door until the staff said goodbye to us, I was sure that I would visit again. It was a Monday night and defintely full because they had Ladies Night. I thought in Dubai, they do it on Tuesdays but no! They accommodated me and my girlfriend and i enjoyed everything there. The menu was of good variety and price were worth paying for....i should come back for this Milliionaire pizza thing which costs 3,500aed. THe DJ was alive and kicking though he does not come out of this booth. THe staff were I believe mix of nationalities.....bizarre to see a British guy working out there. The lady manager who was walking around, going to tables and I was sure she was checking if everything was ok.
I recommend this chillout place....come!
