Best female singer (the bass player) and male lead guitarist I have listened to in ten years in Dubai. Definitely a backstreet bar but well worth a listen. The small venue is over crowded on Thursdays so unless you love the elbow to elbow crowd another night you will enjoy the music more. This place is what we remember as one of the reasons we stay in Dubai.

Surprised that you guys finally reviewed this after years of this being a well kept secret, hidden away from the trendy and poseur places. The hole-in-the-wall ambiance (including the walk through the back of the hotel) is well worth it. The music (not really MOR but 70's metal, Guns 'n' Roses, etc) is the reason to come (the female bass player/singer is worthwhile to hear/watch). The DJ between sets is almost anti-climactic. The second set (usually around midnight) is usually the best. Actually one of the things I miss about Dubai the most !!! (I'll leave out any further memories that may get me in trouble.)
