There was only one runner in this category. It wasn’t until Belgian Beer Café (quickly and affectionately shortened to BBC) opened its doors in April that Dubai could at last offer a sophisticated draft selection – naturally all from Belgium. It was also the first time we could enjoy fine mussels and Belgian sausage while gazing out over sparkling views of the Creek, from its outdoor deck. And we commend the authentic sense of the bar’s birth place that slaps you across the face as soon as you walk in.

From the shiny trumpet, weathered leather satchels and hundreds of other eye-catching clutter hanging from the coat stands and walls, every- thing is flown in directly from the land of chocolates itself. Head down on a Thursday, post-work, to join the busy loosened-tie crowd, or while away a lazy afternoon there, over fine fare and a paper. Magnifique!

This has to be one of the best views in Dubai across the Creek to Downtown. The staff are terrific and really go out of their way to make people feel both welcomed and valued. The food is consistently good and in decent portions for the hungry! The selection is also fantastic and I love eating here with friends watching the sun go down. Try the mussel pots and home made bread or the Ostend stew, wicked.

I love this place! it has such a warm atmosphere, very nice for relaxing on a thursday night with a couple of friends, although it tends to get very crowded during the weekend. and the music is sometimes a bit too loud for comfort. Nevertheless, great food and amazing beer will tempt you to come back for more

Wonderful brunch with a great artist,Marc is his name i think. We were 8 people and service was swinging. We got served quick and was very tasty. The manager is really a pro,he took our order food and drinks-full table without writing anything down! Impressive! The live station with the waffles are the best and the chefs are very friendly! The best brunch in town for sure... Will come back really soon!

The place is nice but the service has changed since few weeks. We used to go there after work often for drinks and food during the last 3 years.

The beer is still OK but the food changed. The steak is getting smaller than before and there was a time when we have been served bred (incl.) before the main course. Well...and as an excuse for a small steak we have been showed the menu that there is not mentioned any weight...true...and to get a beer free as an excuse is not ok since I can pay on my own for the beer but I paid for the steak and I wanted to get what I pay for!!

We are prepared to pay high prices for good food. For good food but we can expect the respective value for the money.

Well, I hope this change is not because of a change in the management of the bar!

Please try go back to the good service you had the years before if not you will have to close the bar sooner or later!!!

I think it's a wonderful place:service is very good (of course if you are not there just before the concert in the Festival City!!), the food is great quality and the prices are moderate. All the highest scores for the interior design!!
