Many may argue that Oud Metha’s behemoth club deserved our top title. And perhaps if we were judging simply on the venue alone, the Chi@theLodge would have received top honours. Between the gargantuan Ibiza-esque garden area, all-white hip hop room and drape-tastic VIP area, most can find their musical, and decor, preference.

However, with its rather conservative house/urban/indie music policy – and when it comes down to it, it’s the music that matters – it doesn’t quite carry the mantle of leader of Dubai’s clubbing cutting edge. But then, if their talk of future visits from artists such as Erykah Badu and Dizzee Rascal come off, who knows how things could pan out in ’09?

The worst DJ have ever seen in my life, Bad Attitude , poor collection of songs ,
Through out the night he was playing same set of songs even though
he started the DJ as late as he can (12-45)That is allso the entire group was pleading to him to have some music
Music was so dead ,
When we requested to the manager in charge he said he is helpless.
I felt so shame on him .
Managers don't have any control over DJ . DJ Doesn't even have a sense of manners ,he was just so rude.
Service was nominally better.
At least some body was there to clear our table

The worst club i have ever been.
Bad attitude of the Dj . Every one has to call him to come and Play the music. even the bar manager has to request him many time after our group complained many times.
Even the service was very poor. The club was empty and the waiters were busy talking to each other other than clearing the table and offering othger bottle of spirit.

The best club ive been to so far,

And ive been to many, Chi has many things to offer.
To cut a long s.a short. If you need to have a good night out weather with your girlfriend or with your Buddys?
Just go to Chi and you wont be dissappointed,

First of all i want to thank the club for there perfect management if u think its the only club that occupys everyday more then 1500-2000 people and the security managed to do a very good job. All the bar tenders are all friendly and trying to work as fast as possible knowing you have 2000 people asking at the same time for drinks. and a great thanks to the DJ and the people managing the lights..Great work guys. One thing i love about chi is that they bring alot of new International Djs and Singers to dubai. So a big thanks to the promotor management. Thanks to all the managementi cant imagine what crap you get from people not knowing what ur going thru.

The service was horrible!! The bartenders have no clue of what they were doing and it took us 5 ladies almost an hour to get drinks which was sad coz we didnt feel like going back to order more therefor we didnt enjoy the night...
Management has to change the bartenders!!!

I am writing in disgust at the blatant unfairness of thefancy dress competion on Friday 14th May 2010. I & my friends spent the evening at Chi till 3am - so we didn't miss anything. During the evening we saw a number of attendees in fancy dress - some fairly good & some not with much imagination. We were ALL disgusted that the person who should DEFINATELY have won was not even acknowledged!! The girl dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow completely wiped the floor with any other participant, not only was her outfit utterly fabulous - we noticed she was patient & friendly with ALL the VERY MANY people who wanted to have her picture taken with them. (I might add that she was there from early on till 3am just like us so that's how I know!) CHI MANAGEMENT & TIM CHEDDAR!!! SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES It was an exhibition of 'who you know' and not what you know at it's utter extreme - disgustingly unfair of them There were a number of people who also commented on this issue so we are not alone. If CHI have any common decency they will try to contact the girl & do right by her, there are many people who have the pics to prove she was by far the best contestant at the club on that night - even the bar staff & door staff were shocked that the girl didn't get ANYTHING for all her efforts. APPAULING OF CHI.

By far the worst experience I've had in any club anywhere in the world. Took us more than 1 hour to get a beer while standing in line at the bar.

The bartenders have not the foggiest idea what they're doing - on a busy night a bartender has to serve as quick as possible, rather than spending 3 minutes trying to pour a B52 with pinpoint accuracy, and listening to little girls trying to tell the bartenders how to make a drink and exactly how much soda they want in there.

Also doesn't help that they only have 4 or 6 bartenders in total trying to serve several thousand people. Made the night impossible to enjoy.

This club is enormous in size and plays a range of music, with each room having their own genre. RnB/ Hip-Hop - 80's/pop - Trance/House - Rock. The only room that gets packed is the rnb room because its small, crowds have died down as time goes on. Chi used to be better, i think.

Best Club in Dubai Bar HANDS DOWN!

I never expected something like this in a city like Dubai (Originally from Vancouver, BC) - I felt like I was in Miami or Ibiza or something - the various different clubs and ofcourse who can forget the outdoor venue outside - major party place this one and was delighted to be here! Chi is definitely one of the best clubs in the world. Good job dubai!

security on the gates are really bad behaving..the one who is in entrance gate ( i don'y remeber his name.but he is from srilanka....

Id agree with Chi being a great place to spend my weekends - if it wasnt for the Cheesy RnB section with its own version of 50 Cent - Snoop and basically the whole G Unit look alike- wannabes that lurk there with their eye-blinding Bling Bling ready to do some stalking.
but i do love the outside venue. Great Music with people who just want to have a good time.

Went to the Chi friday night for the first time and my friends and i agree its one of the best Clubs we've been to, great music , fantastic hospitality and beats Abu Dhabi nightlife hands down ..An amazing night was had by all. Will definetly be back

By far the best club in Dubai with something for everyone, all in one place. Having the opportunity to venture in and out of different rooms showcasing various genres of music and live acts is most appealing and when busy enough (with the garden open) mainly on weekends, the atmosphere outside is great.

The music policy is mainly kept upfront thus appealling to anyone musically switched on and in touch with both UK & US scenes.

A weekend visit will give you the complete Chi experience and you won't be disappointed.
