Jumeirah Beach Hotel’s lavish two-roomed club opened with much fanfare at the end of 2005, quickly becoming the spot to congregate. Three years on, and it’s still holding its own on the city’s circuit, particularly with its consistently packed Friday hip hop and R&B nights, host to many an international homeboy and girl. But, as a fairly standard club design-wise, The Apartment’s appearance on next year’s list will no doubt rest on the strength of its acts in 2009.
