Mega gym with good membership deals and venues all over town

i must say my experience with fitness first was disappointing. many reasons why:
* First they make you sign a contract that stipulates that you have to be a member for a year minimum, in case you full out before a year, you forgo the AED 600 membership fee.
* Please never, NEVER give your credit card number on the membership form because they promptly deduct it every month religiously regardless of if you are attending or not. There is no system to follow up with members.
* I attended the Mussala towers branch and I tell you AED 400 per month is a premium price for any gym membership- but the machines were in poor maintained. I also wrote a suggestion on teh card but that of course was it. I wasnt very regular but even when i was back from vacation after a month the crunches machine and the machine for the inner thigh exercise and the shoulder exercise machine was still not fixed.
* After i stopped attending I gave a call recently to inquire if i want to re-join do i have to pay the joining fee again (the only reason i went back to them despite all the above reasons is because in my area they are the only ones offering decent facilities and also because i wanted a personal trainer. I was informed that not only will i have to pay the deposit again, the joining fee but also 3 months that I didnt attend.
Fitness first management has to realize that with such a rigid membership structure with complete disregard to servicing existing members (and by the way the only department that does a good job is marketing) the members end up feeling cheated and you loose credibility.

it's the worst gym ever .they only care to take your money on the first day of the month, and they don't care if you come or not.
communication with the staff is horible ,no follow up at all.
i don't recomend it at all, don't waste your money,no result.............
