Bodybuilders in the city, ready to show off those guns and get tips from the best?
More than 500 local and international athletes will be descending on Dubai come Friday October 21 for a feast of muscle-flexing competitions, challenges and seminars.
Guest stars will include the likes of Jay Cutler, Ronnie Coleman, Lazar Angelov and Andreia Brazier. If you’re into pumping iron you’ll most likely know who these legendary monsters are.
Guests can also look forward to an exhibition featuring 100 of the world’s leading health and fitness brands, offering free samples and special offers on their health products.
As for the challenges mentioned above, they will include six tests on strength, such as atlas stone lifting, tyre flipping and yacht pulling, seeing the best of the 12 competitors crowned as Dubai Muscle Show’s Strongest Man.
The event will also include the TK Amateur Championship, in which a dozen of Dubai’s best amateur cage fighters will put mixed martial arts skills to the test in emphatic style.
“This event is set to be a landmark show for the local fitness industry due to the business development opportunities it will facilitate and the inspiration that so many of the athletes will give to those looking to reach their fitness goals,” Hessa Al Kous, director of Events Department at Dubai Sports Council,told Sports 360.
Organizers are expecting 10,000 attendees over the weekend. Tickets cost Dhs40 for a day and Dhs65 for a two-day pass.
