Plus: go green with our Christmas gifts and indulge ourselves at Talise Spa
Time Out Dubai staff
This week: We do Pilates in the park, go green with our Christmas gifts and indulge ourselves at Talise Spa.
Head outdoors for your weekly Pilates fix from now on, as classes start up at The Archive in Safa Park. Feel the grass between your toes and the stretch in your muscles on Sundays at 9am and Wednesday at 7pm, for Dhs50 per session (email email@example.com to register).
In other green news this week, you can now make your bath bombs that little bit extra eco-friendly. Renowned British fashion designer and environmental campaigner Vivienne Westwood has designed a limited edition 100 percent organic cotton climate knot wrap to be sold in all Lush stores in the run up to Christmas, with all profits going to support the Climate Revolution. The idea is that by wrapping your Lush Christmas gifts up in this wrap (available for Dhs150), you can help reduce the amount of wrapping paper thrown away each festive period (in the UK alone, they throw away 227,000 miles worth).
Finally, make sure you give yourself a treat this season. Talise Spa at Madinat Jumeirah has a raft of new ways to restore balance to your mind and body, including a new hot and cold seashell treatment, tai chi classes with Master Can and daily sunset yoga.
