Can you really grow longer lashes in eight to 12 weeks
Can you really grow longer lashes in eight to 12 weeks? Holly Sands takes LiLash up on the challenge.
The promise The product contains an active ingredient that stimulates lash growth along with natural extracts to help condition the eyelashes and prevent them from becoming dry or brittle. Results are said to be visible in eight or 12 weeks in some cases and as little as three in others.
Step by step LiLash’s instructions are easy to follow. The product applies like a (clear) liquid eyeliner and dries in a couple of minutes. We apply the solution nightly in a line where the eyelids meet the lashes – it takes commitment and needs to become a part of your daily skincare routine, which some people may struggle with. Until you’re happy with the length, you’ll need to apply it daily, but once your lashes have grown as much as they can, you can dial it down to two or three applications per week as maintenance.
The result On one side, where we had visibly shorter lashes, we found the lash serum worked well, leaving us with no noticeable difference between the two. The other side, however, failed to show much growth.
Pros • Unlike eyelash extensions or glue-on falsies, LiLash takes care of your lashes as opposed to damaging them.
Cons • It’s quite a high-maintenance product – and missing applications here and there will mean you’re wasting your efforts (and cash).
