We battle humidity-harrassed hair with the celebrity stylist's new range
The promise The new Trevor Sorbie ‘salon approved’ Frizz Free range claims to smooth frazzled locks and keep all hair types moisturised and manageable. The repair mask nourishes and replenishes dry hair while the smoothing spray aims to protect your tresses through heat styling and blow-drying. Combined, they should tame even the most summer-stressed manes.
Step by step Following the instructions, we applied the repair mask after a regular shampooing. Thick and creamy, with a semi-set texture, it feels like a dense conditioner and sits firmly in the hair. Once we’d covered our hair from root to tip, we left the mask to get to work for just five minutes before washing it off. After a quick towel-dry and before styling, we applied the smoothing spray through our damp hair before blow-drying. Emitted from the bottle in a fine mist, the spray is quickly absorbed without leaving any nasty residue.
The result After using both products together our hair was visibly nourished and moisturised. There was no sticky feel after the blow-dry, and the ends of the hair looked healthy and not as damaged or frayed as usual. The mask is also great for a quick weekly treatment that you don’t have to wait an hour for.
Pros • Hair was noticeably shinier and curls more manageable, moisturised and de-tangled after use of the mask. • Both products have a pleasant fragrance. • Smoothing spray is great pre-blow-dry, as the result was a more shiny and healthy looking blow-out.
Cons • The mask is a bit messy to apply because of its texture.
