When did your love for make-up start? I’ve been into make-up and hair from such a young age and I was always obsessed with going through my mum’s make-up bag! I joined beauty school straight from school. My passion for brows in particular began when I saw there was a HD brow course in 2008. I couldn’t wait to sign up.
Do you get many male customers? If so, what style do they normally go for? Well it’s difficult in Dubai as I work from women’s salons, but my brother and fiancé always have me do their brows. They ask for them “neatening up, but not too neat”! If David Beckham can have groomed brows then I think it’s acceptable for all men.
What is the strangest request you’ve had from a customer? One of my customers wanted to shave the sides of their brows off and then draw them way above the natural line, I had to refuse and explain why this wouldn’t look right.
Pencil-thin or Cara Delevingne? Cara Delevingne. Absolutely.
