Time Out checks the spring sensation at the Lime Spa at Desert Palm Hotel
With so many spas in Dubai, it has to be a pretty special massage in a special spa to warrant a trip past Dragon Mart. Luckily, Desert Palm’s Lime Spa was definitely worth it. Arriving at the beautiful boutique hotel 30 minutes after I had set off from the Greens, I felt like I had been transported to another city as I entered the very quiet grounds of this small hotel.
A welcome glass of water with sliced lime (what else?) ensured that all I was thinking about was the spa’s new Spring Sensation massage I was about to have and what colour my mood was the treatment questionnaire.
Then, taken to a spa room with beautiful views of the lush green polo fields, my treatment began with a relaxing foot bath. Once this was over, I settled onto the massage bed for the soothing full body massage. The best part of this Spring Sensation package is the unlike most massages, this 90-minute treatment also includes a shiatsu pressure-point facial massage and a relaxing scalp massage, all of which left me feeling completely refreshed, relaxed and revitalised from head to toe. And, just as I thought it couldn’t get any better, the treatment came to an end with a mouth-watering lime sorbet. Farzana Ali Spring sensation at the Lime Spa at Desert Palm Hotel (04 323 8888). The one-and-a-half-hour treatment costs Dhs595.

The Lime Spa is a great place to be and it's even better that you can find a buy 1 - get 1 free voucher on treatments in the Entertainer Body book which pushes the cost to less than 250 per massage. I love the Body book - great savings in it.

My friend and I were in Lime Spa last weekend and I absolutely agree on how quiet the grounds was, the view was wonderful. The massage treatment was very relaxing indeed, not to mention the cheerful and polite staff. Definitely worth coming back!
