Citywide initiative launched with massive events in October and November
If you’re looking for a reason to get fit now that the post-summer season has arrived and a return to al fresco exercise is in order, then listen up.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council for Dubai Government, has launched the Dubai Fitness Challenge, and it’s intended to make Dubai the most active city in the world.
Between Friday October 20 and Saturday November 18, HH Sheikh Hamdan is asking you to commit to just 30 minutes of daily exercise, for just 30 days.
So, what’s going to be on across the month? Well, to help make that happen, a range of activities have been planned, including Dubai Desert Warrior Challenge on Friday October 20 in Dubailand, build-up races for the Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge from Friday 20 October onwards, the Colour Run by Daman’s Activelife on Saturday November 11, the 2XU Triathlon at Mamzar on Friday October 20 and so much more.
