Awful experience. I wonder how this salon is still open. I went there a few months ago as my hair was turning a bit orange. I had some highlights done 1-2 months before going to them @ Hairworks in IBN Battuta. Unfortunately it started turning orange & my hair was very much unruly. After a doing a thorough research for several weeks, I decided to go to Salon Ink. Knowing (by a lot of comments) that they were already "OVERPRICED" I decided to go as money is not a problem when a job is well done.I wanted my Ombre Highlights to be redone (I already had paid a AED 1000 at Hairworks the previous month). Of course one of the ladies, said no problem she can do it. After spending several hours, the orange colour was gone, but the Ombre Highlights couldnt even be seen. And I had a trim cut, all of this for AED 2500. For practically no change! They told me to come back in a few days, if I wanted more highlights, which I did because there was no change. Arriving there, I was told that I hap to pay AGAIN for more, as all of a sudden it was considered "A long process", when I know it is not true as I have a few friends that did it in Europe. I was so upset & didnt want to keep paying & paying, I decided to go back to my natural colour as the result wasnt what I wanted & they did say that I would have my Ombre Highlights. They told me that I had to pay again. I said to them that at least they should compromise as this wasnt what I asked for. The Managers, owners or whatever they think they are were there, unfriendly, uncaring. The only thing written on their forehead was MONEY. I was so fed up that I paid a TOTAL of AED 3200 or my husband paid as it was my birthday that weekend. Also, the highlights they did, damaged my hair quite deeply & the haircut she did afew days before was again nothing for what you pay for. So I had to pay for another haircut & I told her to cut all the horrible layers she had cut just a few days back. This was such an aweful experience. I'm from France, lived in Europe, South Africa, New Zealand for 6 years & now in Dubai since 2 years. I have never experienced something like that.
