honestly the location could be a little hard to find the first time... but however its worth the find. i have been highlighting my hair for the past 6yrs.. and no has done a job even close to being as good as this salon... n m going back there again.. i highly recommend it for highlighting, as they will not give up until u are completely satisfied with how it looks.

Forget going to the Walk salon, make a booking at The Trade Centre Salon, its on the novotel side of the exhibition centre, they have valet parking and Tony is the best, he will keep you amused whilst cutting or colouring your hair. Have been going there for the past 2 years and can not complain.

I made the same mistake as the first reviewer because the JBR map had Frank's salon on it. So i booked there and tried to find it in the midday sun and the staff told me Murjan at the Walk, which is where i was. They didn't mention Marina Walk so I had to cancel my appointment. The staff were not helpful on the phone, the first person i spoke to didn't even know where the salon was!

The previous reviewer was at the wrong Walk! The salon is at the Walk where Spinney's is on the SZR side of the marina, not the Walk on the beach! There is only one Starbucks at this Walk! If you are at the right Walk it is easy to find and offers an excellent service. Don't let that review put you off.

I had a terrible time trying to locate the Marina branch as their directions are very poor. The staff were only able to tell me that they are located opposite Starbucks in the Marina Walk but neglected to inform us that there are in fact 5 Starbucks in and around the Walk. After more than a kilometre's walk in the heat of midday and four unsuccessful calls to the salon, the staff were still incapable in giving proper directions. Needless to say we did not get to the appointment.

Credit as a somewhat ironic afterthought should be given to staff who called me an hour and half later to enquire as to whether I would not be coming in for my appointment...
