Dubai Ladies Club launches ice beach in time for summer
Snow spa, ice domes, food trucks and tonnes of zero degree fun at ladies' club
We’re forever in search of new ways to cool down, and Dubai Ladies Club has just announced a brilliant new attraction that will help beat the heat this summer.
Possibly one of Dubai’s coolest new attractions, the Ice Dome at DubaICE Ladies Beach is a temperature-controlled space where guests can enjoy a relaxing beverage or cool off in the zero-degree Snow Spa – which, DLC claims, possesses healing properties that help generate healthier looking skin and hair and is a natural mood enhancer.
Women attending the private summer beach club can also leave the kids in the dedicated Ice Dome children’s area, featuring a range of ice-inspired games.
“Our annual summer beach festivals have been one of our most anticipated annual events and we are pleased to launch the beach festivities once again, even bigger and better,” said Lamia Abdulaziz Khan, director of Dubai Ladies Club. “Keeping in mind everyone’s need to stay cool and hydrated while outdoors, this year will counter the rising temperature concerns with a variety of cool-down features for women and children, by bringing the comforts of the indoors to our scenic open air beach setting.”
As well as the club’s cooling features, guests and members can also make the most of food trucks parking up, inflatable areas for kids, live DJs and a natural tanning bar.
Non-members can purchase tickets at the door or in advance at a rate of Dhs250. The event is free for members of Dubai Ladies Club. The beach club will run every Friday and Saturday until the end of August.
Dhs250. Fri-Sat, 2pm-7pm, until Sat Aug 26. Jumeirah Beach Road, next to Four Seasons Resort, www.dubailadiesclub.com (04 349 9922).
